Shahi Imam takes action against TikTok video makers in Jama Masjid Delhi

New Delhi: Shahi Imam Syed Ahmed Bukhari took action against people who desecrated Shahi Jama Masjid and dealt with TikToK app makers. During the past one week, the action was taken against 40 youth they were warned against the desecration of the masjid.

It must be recalled that on April 29, a video went viral in which two Japanese girls were shown doing a handstand. Since then “at least five viral TikTok videos” shot inside Jama Masjid surfaced.

The Indian Express reported that Maulana Syed Ahmed Bukhari, the Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid told that an announcement is being made almost every hour inside Jama Masjid about the app TikTok being banned in the premises. A team of 10 people has been canvassing the area from dusk to dawn to “catch youngsters making TikTok videos”.

Movement in the mosque premises has been restricted. Visitors can now access the two small domes only through the main dome route. The team is keeping a watch on youngsters making such videos.
