New Delhi [India]: A seven-year-old girl was allegedly molested and sedated by two senior girl students, at her school in Delhi’s Moti Nagar, police said on Sunday.
The victim and accused are students of Sarvodya Kanya Vidyalaya.
One of the accused has been arrested following a case was registered under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), a senior police officer said.
The accused, who has been held, is a major while the other is a minor.
The victim, who has been sent for medical examination and counseling, said that two girls of senior classes took her to a vacant room in the school during lunch time and took off her clothes.
“They allegedly touched her private parts and when she tried to resist, they threatened her,” the officer said adding that it was happening for the last few months.
The girl narrated the entire incident to her parents who later approached the police. (ANI)
