Shami-Jahan case reaches court – Here’s the amount of maintenance Hasin demands

Kolkata: Hasin Jahan approached Alipore court and filed a case against Indian Cricketer Mohammed Shami on Tuesday.

According to the report published in TOI, the third Judicial Magistrate of the Alipore Court while hearing the case has asked the cricketer and other accused in the case to approach the court and record their statement within 15 days from the date of receiving the summons.

Giving the details of the case, Jahan’s lawyer told that they approach the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, however, the case was referred to the third Judicial Magistrate for a speedy hearing. He also said that the next date of hearing is 4th May.

The lawyer claimed that after Jahan raised the issue, she did not receive any amount from Shami. He also told that now Jahan has no money for the monthly expenses.

Talking about the compensation, the lawyer said that a demand of Rs. 7 lakh per month for Jahan and Rs. 3 lakh per month for her daughter is made.

It is also reported that Hasin Jahan had filed a complaint against her husband, Mohammed Shami, her mother-in-law Anjuman Ara Begum, her sister-in-law Sabina Anjum, her brother-in-law Md Hasib Ahamed and Shama Parveen, wife of Hasib.
