Lucknow: Due to his controversial statements now & then, UP Shia Waqf Board Chairman Wasim Rizvi has come on the radar of clerics. Shia and Sunni clerics on Friday announced that if the government doesn’t remove him from the post, clerics of all schools of thought together will launch a country-wide campaign. This was announced by Shia organisation Majlis-E-Ulama-E-Hind and Sufi Sangh Ekta Dal’. Apart from that, they demanded CBI investigation against Wasim Rizvi on what basis he has obtained security.

Majlis-E-Ulama-E-Hind chief and Imam Maulana Syed Kalb Jawwad Naqvi said Wasim Rizvi is spreading hate in the society. He said Rizvi is also openly disrespecting Ayatollah Syed Ali Sistani. He said they have met chief minister Yogi Adityanath and told him that if riots occur due to Wasim Rizvi’s statements, the government will be responsible for that. Maulana Naqvi urged Yogi Government to act against Rizvi otherwise Shia and Sunni clerics will stage a protest on large scale.

Sajjada Nasheen Khanqah Baqaiyah Safipur, Unnao, Shah Syed Hasnain Baqai, also echoed Maulana Syed Kalb Jawwad Naqvi’s thoughts.
