Lucknow: In what can be termed as a horrendous crime, a father in his late 50s along with other men gang-raped his 35-year-old daughter for nearly 18 hours.
The crime is reported from UP’s Sitapur district where the father along with his two other friends confined the victim and took turns in raping her for 18 hours until she managed to escape the crime scene, DC reported.
On April 15, the accused father took his daughter to a fair in Kamlapur area. The father later called his history-sheeter friend to join the duo in the fair.
While returning back from the fair, the two convinced the victim to ride with them on a bike and took her to the house of another common friend whose family was away.
The three accused then confined her to a room and raped her until she managed to escape on April 16.
An FIR was filed the same day after the victim narrated her traumatizing event to her mother.
One of the three accused was arrested on Tuesday, while the victim’s father and his rowdy sheeter associate are on the run.
Kamlapur SHO Sanjeet Sonkar said one of the arrested accused claims to be a medical practitioner but couldn’t produce his degrees. The man is around 40’s said the police.
