Hyderabad: Readers of Siasat can now watch latest international, national, regional and local news through Siasat TV application (TV APP) on their mobile phone. The one of a kind app was launched by Siasat editor Mr Zahid Ali Khan on Thursday at Siasat office. Siasat readers can download the 0.8 mb app from Google play store. On the Siasat TV app, one can watch special programmes on Ramadan from anywhere in the world. Taraveeh in Haram Shareef, Islamic lectures, recitation of Quran in the melodious voice of noted Qaris can be watched and listened to through the app. While watching the programme one can read the news updates in Urdu, English and Hindi scrolling across the screen.
Dr Shahid Ali Khan, Iftekhar Husain secretary Faiz-e-Aam Trust, Mr Taqiuddin Shahi, Mr Aziz Pasha former MP, former chairman State Minority Commission Mr Abid Rasool Khan, MM Tirmizi of Gujarat and Osman Alhajari were present on the occasion.
Zahid Farooqui and Mohammed Arif will be responsible for running the Siasat app. The formal launch ceremony of the app will be held on August 15 on the occasion of the anniversary of Siasat. It must be recalled that last year on August 15 Siasat had launched ‘Bolta Siasat’.
