Hyderabad: The candidates who want to seek admission into MBBS/BDS course should register online for getting verification of their certificates. Students should be aware of the modern processes which were not available earlier. These thoughts were expressed by Prof. Mohammed Suleman Siddiqui, former VC of OU. He was addressing Siasat’s counseling session for medical and dental college students at Royal Regency Garden, Asif Nagar yesterday.
Continuing his address, he advised the students to do justice to this holy profession. He further said that earlier, the doctors used to touch the pulse to diagnose the disease but the modern doctors advise the patients to get various tests done.
Dr. Mohammed Rafeeq, Advisor of Shadan Medical College explained the process of online registration. He said that from this year onwards, NTR University of Health Sciences has introduced a common registration system for A and B categories whereas earlier, for minority colleges, there was a separate form.
Mr. MA Hameed advised the students to register their online applications before 18th July. Mr. Manzoor Ahmed highlighted the objectives of the counseling session. Mr. Khaja Ali Shoeb explained the web counseling process. Mr. Mohammed Muqtar Ali who had come from Saudi Arabia delivered a lecture. Ms. Muneer Fatima conducted the program.
