Singer Joy Villa accuses Trump’s former campaign manager of sexual assault

Washington DC: Singer-songwriter Joy Villa has accused US President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski of sexual assault.

During a holiday party at Trump International Hotel last month in Washington DC, Villa claimed that Lewandowski slapped her on the buttock, quotes Business Insider.

Villa alleges that he did it a second time after she protested for his inappropriate gesture. She further said that she threatened him to make a report, but Lewandowski replied, “Go ahead, I work in the private sector”.

“It was completely demeaning and shocking,” Villa said.

Lewandowski was earlier highlighted in March 2016 when he was charged with an incident, where he got accused of maltreating former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields.

After he left Trump campaign in June last year, Lewandowski has remained in the president’s close circle.
