New Delhi: Six regional parties, SP, BSP of Uttar Pradesh, TMC of West Bengal, BJD of Odisha, TRS of Telangana and YSR Congress of Andhra Pradesh are likely to play a key role in the formation of Central Government.
These parties are expected to win at least 20% of the Lok Sabha seat.
According to the report published in New Indian Express, TRS and YSR Congress are likely to win 30 to 35 seats out of total 42 seats of Telangana State and Andhra Pradesh. In Odisha, BJD is likely to win 14 to 15 seats out of total 21 seats.
As per political analytics, in West Bengal, TMC is likely to win 34 seats out of 42 seats whereas, SP-BSP alliance may win 40 seats out of 82 seats of Uttar Pradesh.
It may be mentioned that KCR who was making an effort to form non-Congress and non-BJP Federal Front may play a predominant role post Lok Sabha Election results.
Here are possible scenarios.
- All six parties may form the front and seek support from one of the national parties.
- Some of the parties may support either NDA or UPA.
- All of them may support UPA to keep NDA out of power.
