The HMDA Commissioner T Chiranjeevulu has warned Municipal officials to face stringent action in case they failed to solve LRS applications before September 27.
Participating in a review meeting at HMDA office here on Saturday, Chiranjeevulu said he removed retired deputy tahsildars, who were working as outsourcing employees and surrendered enforcement officer. He made it clear that he would not entertain the officials, who work negligently. He also said the HMDA was getting bad name due to small issues and asked employees to solve the problems of the common people as early as possible.
The HMDA Commissioner enquired about the obstacles in solving the applications by examining each and every pending application. He directed the officials to give 10 days time to pay the amount for regularization immediately after submitting all required documents. He also directed the officials to reject applications of those who failed to pay the required amount.
He suggested to the officials not to keep applications pending showing trivial technical problems. He said the HMDA officials have examined only 58,000 applications out of 1.51 lakh applications. He asked the officials to solve the pending applications on a war-footing.
