Sony BRAVIA ‘A8F’ TV series now in India

New Delhi: Expanding its BRAVIA OLED television line-up in India, Sony on Tuesday launched “A8F” series in the country that brings refined 4K HDR picture quality.

“The ‘A8F’ series produces incredible detailed pictures with deep blacks, rich colours and an exceptionally wide viewing angle,” the company said in a statement.

The new television series includes “KD-55A8F” (55-inch) television which costs Rs 3,29,900 while “KD-65A8F” (65-inch) is available for Rs 4,49,900.

“Sony’s picture processing expertise lends to precise control of the eight million OLED pixels for a realisation of 4K HDR picture, while ‘Acoustic Surface’ technology allows the sound to come from the screen, thus, creating an all-round entertainment experience along with a beautiful picture,” the company added.

The A8F line-up runs the Android TV version 7.0 with Sony’s exclusive user interface (UI).

The devices come with Chromecast built-in, thus, letting users send content from the smartphone or tablet to the TV easily.

It also lets users access Google Play and enjoy their favourite movies, TV shows and games on TV.
