Hyderabad: Very soon, Govt. of India will introduce a bill which authorizes the dealers to register vehicles in the name of the purchaser at their showrooms itself.
This was informed by MoS for Science and Technology, Govt. of India, Mr. Sujana Chowdhary in Hyderabad on Saturday. He further informed that the draft bill is under the consideration of Govt. of India. Its main objective is to benefit a large number of people and also to facilitate them. He further told that Govt. of India is considering privatizing driving licence. In this context, “One Country, One Licence” policy is being adopted. Under this policy, if any driver clears the driving test, he/she will get all India license. However, if anyone who fails the test 5 times, he/she won’t be eligible to get driving licence from anywhere in the country.
