Sophia Bush details harassment allegations against ‘One Tree Hill’ creator

Washington: Actor Sophia Bush has opened up about the sexual harassment she faced at the hands of ‘One Tree Hill’ creator Mark Schwahn.

Speaking on Sirius XM’s Andy Cohen Live, the 35-year-old, in a recent interview said, “The first time Mark Schwahn grabbed my a** I hit him in front of six other producers and I hit him f**king hard.”

“We knew about things he’d say to people, we knew about the late-night texts, we knew when he was super-obsessed with one girl on our show that he started trying to bang down her hotel room door in the middle of the night,” Bush said, as reported by Deadline.

“She had to be moved, her rooms were moved. And then her boyfriend came and stayed with her the next month. It almost came to fisticuffs between the two of them.”

Schwahn, in November last year, was accused of sexual harassment by more than a dozen of former cast and crew members of ‘One Tree Hill’.

A total of 18 cast and crew members, including stars Sophia Bush, Hilarie Burton and Bethany Joy Lenz, signed the letter in which they wrote that they “have chosen this forum to stand together in support of Audrey Wauchope and one another” following statements in which Audrey Wauchope, a former staff writer for the show accused Schwahn of harassment without naming him.
