HYDERABAD: Toli Masjid built in 1671 AD in the neighborhood of 2km from Golconda Fort by Mir Musa Khan Mahaldar during the region of Abdullah Qutb Shah is encroached by land-grabbers.
27 acres and 30 gunta of land recorded as Waqf under the masjid. Its market value is said to be 600 to 1000 crore rupees. But sorry to say, regardless of this fact, over 17 acres of this land have been intruded by politically influential land grabbers and unauthorised constructions can be found across the property. One such illegally constructed function hall become operational at Karwan road.

Also known as Damri Masjid in Karwan, it is one of the finest examples of Qutub Shahi architecture and is a “protected heritage site,” according to declaration of Archaeological Survey of India. On scale of architecture, Toli masjid ranks next after Makkah masjid.
