Hyderabad: Dept. of Post issued a special stamp on Dr. Syed Khusro Husaini in recognition of his services in the field of education. The stamp carries his name and photograph.
Postal Dept. organized a function on 19th February at the auditorium of Khaja Bandanawaz College of Engineering, Gulbarga.
It may be mentioned that for the first time, a Sajjada Nasheen of a dargah who is an expert in Urdu, English, Arabic and Persian through his efforts established a great university in order to fulfill the wish of his father, Syed Shah Mohammed Mohammedul Husaini, founder of Khaja Education Society.
Dr. Mallikarjun Karghe, Congress Opposition leader and MP attended the function as the Chief Guest.
Ms. Kaneez Fatima, MLA, Gulbarga, Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Sardagi, MLC, Prof. Mustafa Shareef, Dr. A.M. Pathan, VC of Bandanawaz University, Mr. Kamaluddin Ali Khan, Registrar and others also paid tributes to the services of Dr. Khusro Husaini.
The guests and audiences observed two-minute silence in memory of Pulwama martyrs.
