Srinagar: National Conference Vice President and Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah led a peaceful sit-in protest on Srinagar Jammu National Highway.
Omar Abdullah along with other party members raised slogans against Highway ban and BJP. Omar Abdullah condemned the Center’s order of Highway Closure and demands the immediate removal of this order.
“Peoples are facing inconvenience because of the closure of only highway connecting Srinagar with Jammu,” says Omar Abdullah.
An order was recently issued by the centre to ban the highway for civil traffic on Sunday and Wednesday.
