Srinagar: Public Health Engineering (PHE) employees today staged a protest here in press enclave demanding wages and regularisation of their services.
Protesters accused the administration of a delay in resolution of their longlasting demands. “We have been demanding the release of our pending salaries and regularizations of our jobs under SRO 520,” said employees.
They added that due to the delay in the release of payments we are facing financial problems, our families are suffering and we cannot even pay the school fees of our children.
