Hyderabad: Strongly condemning the allegations of Congress party on the issue of Rafeal deal, BJP Telangana unit today alleged that Congress party and its president Rahul Gandhi has been using the deal only for the sake of their own narrow political benefits despite of apex court’s judgement on the issue.
In a memorandum submitted to the president through the district collector Hyderabad of Telangana state, the party said that it was a very serious matter that an elected representative of the country (Rahul Gandhi) who is also a president of a national party is misleading the people of the country on the basis of inaccurate facts.
Disposing off petitions filed on Rafel deal, the Supreme Court has observed that overall process in the Rafeal agreement is transparent and as per the rules. The apex court also given a message with the decision that the matter related to national security should not be brought to the court just on the basis of unfounded doubts and misleading news items.
The party also informed that Rahul Gandhi’s behaviour and acts on the issue have been insensitive to the security and safety of the country and it appears anti-national. The BJP leader said Rahul Gandhi should be removed from his position of public servant for playing with such an important issue of the national security.
A delegation of BJP state party led by Greater Hyderabad party president and MLC N Ramachander Rao submitted the memorandum to the Hyderabad district Collector.
