New Delhi: In an attack by stray cattle, a 17-year-old girl lost her life. The fight between the two bulls on the road pusher her, where a roadways bus ran over the girl on Saturday, police said.

The class 12 student, Parul, of BAKP Intermediate College, was returning to her house in Meerpur after attending coaching classes when the incident took place, city Kotwali in-charge Deepak Shukla said.

“While she was on her way, two bulls suddenly locked horns. As she tried to save herself, a bull pushed her on to the road where she was hit by a UP roadways bus,” he added.

However, there were people who could help the critically injured girl by taking her to a nearby hospital, they started shooting a video of the incident, reports HT.

Some elderly men and a policeman then arranged an auto-rickshaw to take the girl to the district hospital where she was pronounced dead by the doctors.

Shukla said the people who made the video clips of the incident and posting it on the social media were being identified. “It is against the law not to provide medical aid to an injured person after an accident,” he said.

An FIR has been lodged in this regard. There is a garbage dumping yard been set up on the road by Local Nagar Palika administration, which has become a place for the stray animals to feed on.
