Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today appreciated Stree Nidhi Bank for becoming ideal at national level and developed to give rich dividend to the government. Attending fourth general body meeting at Jayashankar Agriculture University here the minister received Rs 4.35 cr share of benefits from the Stree Nidhi bank with 10 per cent dividend which is two per cent more than the last year. The governing body of the bank also gave Rs 4.79 cr to women groups through the minister.
The minister lauded the team work of the bank and appreciated that its members are offering training in other states on various schemes. He exhorted the women groups to play in Bangaru Telangana and making Telangana 100 per cent open defecation free. The minister released some related books, loan app and online accounting website on the occasion. New panchayat raj act will be in place to ensure rural development through funds from the government
