Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) Chief Spokesperson Dr. Sravan Dasoju has alleged that instead of ‘Bangaru Telangana’, TRS regime has turned the streets into slaughter houses.
Addressing a press conference at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday, Sravan strongly condemned the murder of a youth in broad day light in full public view at Attapur in Hyderabad on Wednesday. He said that the brutality and fearlessness with which the murder was committed clearly shows that the fear for law and police has vanished from the streets of Telangana. A similar incident took place in broad day light in Erragadda a few days ago. Instead of protecting the lives of common people, Telangana police is busy in pleasing the bosses of ‘pink party.
Citing figures from National Crime Records Bureau, Sravan said that all types of crimes were on the rise in Telangana State. There was a huge increase in heinous crimes like rapes and atrocities on women. Instead of allowing the police to perform its real duties, caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao misused the force to harass political opponents. AT THE BEHEST OF CARE TAKER CHIEF MINISTER KCR, the Intelligence Department is misused to conduct 11 different elections surveys on political situation and to know where TRS is strong or weak. Intelligence department is failed to find the culprits, but only doing political intelligence cornering opposition parties.
SRAVAN QUESTIONED THAT WHAT AUDACITY POLICE BOSSES HAS TO TAKE PART IN POLITICAL TRAINING CLASSES OF TRS. EVEN IN POLICE STATIONS AND POLICE CARS, PINK TOWELS ARE BEING USED TO PLEASE PINK PARTY TRS. The present police at the key positions are completely colluded with TRS party. And failed to curb the criminals. friendly policing should be towards victims but not towards criminals. Police should protect the respect and honor of KHAKI DRESS by being apolitical and be the custodian of Indian Constitution but not act as the slaves of TRS party.
Sravan alleged that some police officials were used as a tool to book false cases against Congress leaders like Jagga Reddy, Srisailam Goud, Bikshamaiah Goud and others. Now KCR is trying to target TPCC Working President A. Revanth Reddy by conducting IT raids on his house.
The TPCC Chief Spokesperson demanded that the indiscriminate POLITICAL transfers of police officials be stopped immediately. Sravan also demanded the election commission to intervene and ensure that police is relived out of the clutches of ruling TRS party or else there will be no fair and free elections in Telangana
