Hyderabad: A meeting of the State Minorities Commission was held yesterday under the chairmanship of Mr. Abid Rasool Khan. It was attended by Sardar Surjeet Singh, Major Syed Ghouse Mohiuddin Qadri, Mr. Thakur Hrudey Nath Singh, Mr. Azam Ali, Prof. M.A. Manzoor, Prof. Shaik Jeelani, Mr. Mazhar Husain, Mr. Ahmed Basheeruddin Farooqui, Mr. M.S. Farooq, Mr. Nayeemullah Shareef and others.
The members suggested various measures for providing quality education to depressed classes and also to coordinate the efforts of voluntary organizations for the effective implementation of RTE.
