Hyderabad: TDP candidate in Kukatpally Assembly constituency Nandamuri Suhasini on Thursday lodged a complaint with the Election Commission alleging that local police personnel were supporting her political rival Madhavaram Krishna Rao of the TRS.
In her complaint, she alleged that Madhapur DCP Venkateswar Rao and Kukatpally ACP Surendra were extending full support to the TRS candidate to woo the voters. She urged the EC to immediately transfer the two cops from their present places of posting. She also urged the EC to deploy paramilitary forces in Allapur and Old Bowenpally areas in the constituency.
