Union Minister of State for Science & Technology and Earth Science Sujana Chowdhary and Telangana State IT Minister KT Ramarao today inaugurated Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) at IICT Auditorium here.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR said Hyderabad has world class research institutes and research was going in more than 50 institutes of science, defence and agriculture sectors. The Hyderabad was in first place in regard to life sciences and pharma sectors. He said that US President Donald Trump’s Helicopter cabin was also manufactured in Hyderabad. He revealed that the top IT companies of the world established their head quarters in Hyderabad city.
There were 20 incubation centers in Hyderabad unlike anywhere in India, he said. Stating that small countries like Japan and Korea were offering best products to the world, KTR said that the TRS government will bring all research institutes to one platform through Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad. The activities of the Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad will be held from Parishram Bhavan located at Basheerbagh. He suggested to the audience to see that the science and innovations should be in a position to help the society. (NSS)
