New Delhi: India’s largest food ordering and delivery platform Swiggy has announced crossing milestone of 1 Lakh active delivery partners.
A pioneer in building a dedicated delivery fleet since its inception, Swiggy continues to strengthen its network while also recognizing the need to create an inclusive workforce.
“Today, Swiggy is synonymous with lightning fast and hassle-free deliveries. This growth and constant love from the consumers could not have been possible without the support and efforts of our delivery partners,” said VP Operations at Swiggy, Sachin Kotangale.
“As we expand our delivery fleet in a conscious and sustainable manner, we not only want to continue an industry best delivery experience for our consumers but also enable sustainable earnings for our partners with each of them doing more orders with us,” said Kotangale.
Earlier this year, Swiggy launched its Safety First program with the aim to make roads safer for both the delivery partners and citizens. The mandatory program enables extensive sensitization, awareness, and training of its delivery partners on the various nuances of road safety including guidelines to ensure safer riding experience, emergency management, accident response, safety for self and emergency victims and cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques.
