TADJAC demands arrest of private auto financer under PD act for illegal acts

Hyderabad: Telangana Auto Drivers’ JAC has demanded that the private Auto Financiers should be arrested under Prevention Detection Act if they continue to keep original Auto RCs and permits with them illegally any longer.

Addressing the media here today, TADJAC convener Mohd. Amanullah Khan alleged that the private financers were keeping the original auto RC books and permits with them illegally and seizing the autos with the help of their mercenaries in case of default of paying two or three monthly installments, and selling the vehicles to others.
Amanullah Khan alleged that some goons of Yash Auto Finance, Khairatabad seized auto no. AP28 TV 0182 of a poor auto owner Ramnivas recently even after paying the entire loan amount of Rs 98,000 and trying to sell it to others. “Therefore, we demand that City Police Commissioner immediately order arrest of the financier. The TADJAC convener also warned that if the private financiers failed to hand over the original RCs and Permits to the respective Auto owners within a week, protest demonstrations will be held in front of the offices of the financiers’ offices concerned.
