Takifiri gunmen attacks military parade, killed many, wounded several

Tehran: An attack by Islamic state group at a military parade today has killed many and wounded others the state TV reported.

The aftermath images of the attack show many paramedics helping wounded people while many laid unconscious on the ground, TOI reported.

A similar attack by the Islamic State group was carried out in June 2017 which left 18 people dead with more than 50 wounded at parliament and the shrine of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in Tehran.

That attack had at that point been the only one by the Sunni extremists inside of Shiite Iran, which has been deeply involved in the wars in Iraq and Syria where the militants once held vast territory.

Meanwhile, gunmen and suicide bombers also carried out attacks on Tehran’s outskirts outside Khomeini’s mausoleum.
