Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav has informed that the birthday of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao would be celebrated at a grand scale at Jal Vihar on Necklace Road on February 17.
The minister visited Jal Vihar on Thursday and reviewed the arrangements being made for the celebrations. Speaking to media persons, Talasani said blood donation camp, medical camp, distribution of tri-cycles, sarees among poor women and similar events would be oranised on the Chief Minister’s birthday. A cultural programme will also be organised at Jal Vihar.
Nizamabad MP and CM’s daughter K. Kavitha will offer special pooja a temple in Secunderabad at 9 am on February 17 and later inaugurate 265 units of double bed room houses for poor in Chacha Nehru Nagar of Bansilalpet. The houses have been constructed at a cost of Rs. 2.46 crore. She will then participate in the birthday celebrations of KCR. Deputy CM Mahmood Ali, Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy, Excise Minister Padma Rao, GHMC Mayor B. Rammohan, MLC Hanumantha Rao and other leaders will cut CM’s birthday cake.
Talasani has advised the TRS corporators to organise birthday celebrations in their respective divisions. (INN)
