Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today had darshan of Sri Ramalingeshwara Swamy at the Keesaragutta temple on the city outskirts on the occasion of Mahashivaratri festival.
The minister participated in special pujas at the temple on the occasion. He told mediapersons that the State government was giving facelift to all the temples in districts with adequate funds. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was for speedy development of the temples with all facilities, he said. He also said Chief Minister KCR was determined to develop Yadadri temple on the lines of the world-famous Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). Every festival in Telangana State was being celebrated on a grand manner with better arrangements in place, he added.
Malkajgiri MP Malla Reddy, BJP leader Laxman and others also visited the temple. (NSS)
