As talks fail, APSRTC crew to go on strike from June 13

The parleys between APSRTC management and JAC of all employees’ unions’ leaders failed to arrive at a decision to avert the indefinite strike from June 13. The JAC leader Damodar made it clear that they would go on indefinite strike from June 13 pressing for fulfillment of their demands. He made it clear that there was no question of reconsidering the strike date although a request was made by the management of the corporation.

Damodar said the indefinite strike would not be withdrawn until all their 26 demands were conceded by the APSRTC Management. He alleged that the management was trying to trick them and added that the MD of the corporation was not present during their discussions. He said that of the total demands, only two demands were within the purview of the State government and the remaining 24 demands could well be addressed by the management.
