Tandur leader Ayub Khan who flagged off injustice in TRS, succumbs to burns

HYDERABAD: Ayub Khan, a senior leader of TRS party who attempted self-immolation loses battle and died of burns at Apollo DRDO Hospital, Kanchanbagh where he was receiving treatment.

In August, during a meeting of ruling TRS at Tandur in Vikarabad district, Ayub Khan peeved over being ignored in the party self-immolates by pouring petrol on his body in the presence of a Transport Minister Mahender Reddy.

The former president of party’s Tandur town unit, Ayub Khan in his address alleged that outsiders in the party were getting nominated posts, whereas he has been active in TRS since 2011 was not considered for any important position.

Other party workers doused the fire. Khan sustained 60 % burns and was rushed to a hospital in Hyderabad, where his condition stated critical.
