Taylor Swift reportedly writes emotional letter to fans in ‘Reputation’ booklet

London: Pop sensation Taylor Swift is reportedly writing an “emotional letter” to her fans about the pitfalls of celebrity life, in hard copies of new album ‘Reputation’.
According to The Independent, the people who bought ‘Reputation’ received a note alongside, in which the singer expounded on love in all its forms.
Swift appeared to refer to several issues in the open letter – titled ‘Here’s Something I’ve Learned About People’, including her famous feud with Kanye West.
She wrote, “My mistakes have been used against me. My heartbreaks have been used as entertainment, and my songwriting has been trivialised as ‘oversharing’. Here’s something I’ve learned about people. We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them they have chosen to show us.”
The album also includes a note to the Swift Nation, in which the singer expounded on love in all its forms.
“We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them they have chosen to show us. We know our friend in a certain light, but we don’t know them the way their lover does. Just the way their lover will never know them the same way that you do as their friend. Their mother knows them differently than their roommate, who knows them differently than their colleague. Their secret admirer looks at them and sees an elaborate sunset of brilliant color and dimension and spirit and pricelessness,” noted Swift.
She concluded the lengthy letter by writing, “Let me say it louder again, louder for those in the back. We think we know someone, but the truth is that we only know the version of them they have chosen to show us. There will be no further explanation. There will just be reputation.”
Swift’s latest album is reported to have sold over GBP 700,000 since its release with sales set to exceed that of her previous record 1989 which dropped in 2014. (ANI)
