TDP-BJP combine promises Wifi City, Set Top Box

The Telugu Desam Party and Bharatiya Janata Hyderabad combine has promised to turn Hyderabad into a Wifi City if it wins GHMC elections.

The TDP-BJP combine, in its joint manifesto for GHMC elections, has also promised to provide free water connection and Set Top Box for all households in the GHMC limits. The manifesto was released here on Sunday in the presence of Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatraya, BJP President G. Kishan Reddy, Telangana TDP President L. Ramana, floor leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao and other leaders.

Addressing a press conference later, Dattatraya accused the MIM of taking help of extremist elements to win GHMC polls. He also accused TRS Government of not utilising Rs. 100 crore released by the Centre for Swachh Hyderabad programme.

Kishan Reddy assured that the TDP-BJP combine would not burden the people with taxes if it captures the Mayor’s post. He said that the manifesto would serve as a Vision Document for development of Hyderabad. He alleged that the TRS Government has failed to fulfill the promises that it made with the people during 2014 General Elections. (INN)
