TDP’s decision to delink with BJP may affect Karnataka elections

Hyderabad: The decision of TDP to break its ties with BJP may affect significantly in the elections of Karnataka, especially in the bordering districts of the State.

It may be mentioned that some TDP leaders have already sent messages to Telugu knowing citizens of bordering districts of AP not to vote BJP in Karnataka Assembly Elections. It is worth noting that in the districts of Raichur, Bellari and Kulbargi, a large number of Telugu speaking citizens are inhabited whose votes may tilt the balance of certain political parties.

It is expected that the TDP leaders who are irritated with the attitude of PM Modi for not according Special Status to AP may visit these districts and persuade the people not to vote BJP.

It may be mentioned that recently two TDP ministers resigned from the central cabinet. In the same manner, two BJP ministers also resigned from AP cabinet.
