Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari today said the State government has agreed in principle to conduct DSC to recruit teachers after addressing legal tangles, if any, and avoiding injustice to anyone.

Wednesday, Srihari, who also holds Education portfolio remarked that the TRS government will fill left over vacancies and do justice to all the trainee teachers. “We will consider the appeals to recruit teacher posts of over age and trying to overcome legal implications in the process of conducting DSC, Srihari said. “Once the process is complete, the government will announce its decision to fill all vacancies”, he said.
To a query on the much-touted KG-to-PG scheme, Srihari refused to divulge details saying that an exercise was on. He also declined to reveal the actual number of vacancies and those aged trainee teachers seeking jobs. He also said there are trainee teachers whose age was barred and above 50 years. However keeping all the related issues in view, an exercise was on to overcome legal problems and then announce the decision on teacher posts, the minister stated. It is pertinent to note that about 100 trainee teachers of 1998 batch met him for post and sought justice. Srihari further said that there is no need of panic among the trainee teachers who will get jobs soon. (NSS)
