Andra Pradesh: A school teacher brutally attacked his class 9 student with a blade in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district early on Saturday morning.
Shankar, the Hindi teacher, allegedly forcefully entered into the student’s home and tried to slit her throat for rejecting his proposal.
Neighbours rushed to rescue her after the girl who was in a state of shock began to scream. The girl was rushed to Kurnool government hospital after the incident.
The accused teaches Hindi at Rockwell High School in Bangarupeta area of Kurnool district, later he was caught, tied to a pole and was beaten up by the people.
The accused slashed his own throat following which the police took Shankar to a hospital.
Ganta Srinivasa Rao, Minister of Human Resources Development of Andhra Pradesh has ordered to place the Hindi teacher under suspension.
