Telangana Assembly: Dissolution likely next month before this date

Hyderabad: In order to hold elections along with four States of the country, it is essential to dissolve TS Assembly before the expiry of the term.

Election commission takes 90-100 days for making preparations for elections. In such a situation, it becomes imperative for TS to recommend desolation of Assembly before 10th September. TRS leadership is seriously considering about it. If everything is favourable to TRS, CM of TS, Mr. KCR might recommend for the dissolution of TS Assembly.

Authentic sources revealed that CM of TS is actively considering about it. He had hinted at it also. He has given indications to the ministers to get ready for the elections.

In case, TS Assembly is dissolved before 10th September, elections could be held in the State along with four other states, namely, Mizoram, Chhattisgarh, MP and Rajasthan.

It may be noted that the election process in Mizoram has to be completed before 15th December, in Chhattisgarh, before 5th January, in MP before 7th January whereas, in Rajasthan before 20th January.

In order to start the election process, the first step is the preparation of voters’ list. When it is completed, Election Commission writes to State Chief Secretary and DGP to start preparations for elections.
