Kamareddy: On Thursday night, an attempt to break open and steal cash from an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of a private sector bank had foiled.
Some unidentified persons had tried to steal cash from an ATM machine at Pitlam Mandal headquarters of Kamareddy district. They damaged the CCTV cameras installed in front of the ATM room and inside the cabin before they attempt to steal the cash from the ATM.
According to the police, a resident nearby the ATM heard a sound from the kiosk and immediately alerted the police who swung into action. They arrived at the spot with CLUES team and took up investigation – TT reports.
The Sub-Inspector of Pitlam, Anjaneyulu said that the miscreants attempted to steal cash from the ATM by trying to break it open using crowbars and rods. Police collected the fingerprints in the part of investigation.
