Telangana: BJP starts preparation for elections

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP which was opposing early elections so far has suddenly started preparations for Assembly elections. Party has instructed its leaders and cadre to get ready for the election campaign. The core committee of State BJP held a meeting on 29th August and reviewed the present status of BJP.

It may be mentioned that BJP has decided not to make alliance with any other party in Telangana State.

It may be noted that after meeting the CM of TS, BJP intensified its political activities. It is reported that the party High Command has given instructions to State Unit to leave no stone unturned.

Mr. KCR had commissioned BJP leaders immediately after coming from New Delhi and had detailed talk which is of political importance.

The core committee held a meeting which was presided over by Dr. Lakshman, President of State BJP. It was attended by Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya, Mr. Murlidhar Rao, Mr. Sambhamurthy and legislators. A decision was taken in the above meeting to contest all the Assembly constituencies. The party has also decided to start the second phase of Chaitanya Yatra on 10th September. It feels that the popularity of TRS is deteriorating day-by-day.

It is important to mention that the State unit of BJP had written a letter to national president, Mr. Amit Shah opposing early polls. The probable alliance of BJP and TRS are making rounds.

It is understood that both the parties will have an alliance which will not be made public.
