Telangana: Unable to bear harassment from college authorities, an engineering student from Hyderabad committed suicide in her hostel dorm in Chennai.
The student identified as Radha Mounika was pursuing Computer Engineering first year from Sathyabama University in Chennai.
The students alleging the varsity’s harassment, have torched their campus demanding the TN government to take strict action against the varsity’s management.
According to the sources, the varsity officials barred her from writing exams after she was caught in malpractice in one of the internal exams.
She left behind a suicide note that read, “Love You All. Miss You All.”
Meanwhile, the students of Sathyabama University claimed that Radha Mounika was a brilliant student and she would no way commit malpractice adding that she was humiliated by the university staff.
Following the incident, the varsity has declared vacations until 2 January.
