Students of Telangana Minorities Residential Schools create history, get invitation from NASA

Hyderabad: Mr. B. Shafiullah, Secretary, Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) informed that six students have created history. They were invited by NASA to attend International Space Development Conference which is scheduled to be held from 23rd to 27th May.

It may be mentioned that international scientists are participating in this conference.

The students had presented their projects to NASA in February this year which were approved. It is for the first time that the students of a government managed residential school students have been selected for this prestigious program. The names of the students selected are as follows.

  1. Syed Ibrahim Ali (Class IX, Hayatnagar Boys High School)
  2. Mehveen Mohammedi (Class VIII, Golconda Girls High School)
  3. Safa Maheen (Class X, Ibrahimpatnam Girls High School)
  4. Feroz Hasan (Class VIII, Gajwel Boys High School)
  5. Muskan Tabasum (Class IX, Gajwel Girls High School)
  6. Feroz Ahmed (Class IX, Serilingampally Boys High School)

CM of Telangana State, Mr. KCR congratulated the students for their success. The selected candidates contacted US Consulate in Hyderabad for getting visas. Ms. Katherine B. Hadda welcomed the students and issued visas.
