Hyderabad: After the dissolution of the Telangana Assembly, all the parties started their preparations for the elections. Congress is continuously making efforts to highlight the unfulfilled promises of ruling party in Telangana.
According to the report published in The Hans India, now, Telangana Congress has decided to invite Ms. Sonia Gandhi, UPA Chairperson to address public meeting in the State. Ms. Sonia Gandhi is likely to address two public meetings. These meetings will be held at Karimnagar and Hyderabad. However, the dates for the meetings have not been finalized yet.
TS Congress also wants Mr. Rahul Gandhi to address meetings in the State. He may visit the State in the month of November.
It may be mentioned that the top leaders of the TS Congress would address around 50 roadshows and public meetings. These top leaders include Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy, Mr. Jana Reddy, Mr. Shabbir Ali, Mr. Revanth Reddy, Ms. Vijaya Shanthi and Mr. RC Khuntia. They may use helicopters to cut the travelling time.
Talking about the failure of the party in Telangana State in 2014 elections, senior party leaders said that no proper survey was made before giving tickets to the candidates.
