Telangana: Union Minister Rajnath to inaugurate SCG club of anti terror force NSG

Hyderabad: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will be arriving in Hyderabad to inaugurate the regional Hub complex of anti-terror force National Security Guard (NSG) at Inrbahimpatnam on Tuesday.

The 200 acre-complex project started in 2013 by the Central Public Works Department with a total project cost estimated at Rs 157.84 crore.

According to an NSG official, the complex will house around 600 trained commandos and will have residential and office accommodation along providing modern training facilities such as Baffle firing range, indoor shooting range, 26 obstacles, swimming pool, sports complex, and artificial rock craft wall.

“Our endeavour has been to develop this complex as a green campus,” the official said.

This 28 Special Composite Group (SCG) Complex of NSG is among the four regional hubs in the country said the sources.

“28 SCG complex has become a model regional hub of the NSG, which will help in honing the professional acumen of the NSG commandos and also contribute significantly in capacity building of the first responders, the police forces of the states,” the official added.
