Bengaluru: Upset over sharing her intimate pictures with a temple priest, the woman along with her husband committed suicide.
According to sources, the incident is reported from Karnataka’s Ramanagara district where the temple priest had been blackmailing the victim Kaushalya after he allegedly took intimate pictures with her and later sent those pictures to her husband, TN reports.
Lokesh the victim’s husband was shocked and completely shattered after the priest and accused Thyagaraju shared the pictures. Dejected husband and wife both committed suicide.
Angry family members of the couple burned down Thyagaraju’s house, car, and tractor committing arson.
The whole arson incident was caught on video camera where large plumes of smoke and fire can be seen rising up from the priest’s house.
Locals in the region alerted the police. Authorities took swift action before the situation went out of control.
