Temple will be built through Constitution, not through Manu Smriti: Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar Azad

Lucknow: Bhim Army chief Chandrasekhar said Ram temple in Ayodhya will be built by the constitution given by Babasaheb Ambedkar to the country, not through manusmriti. He said any crowd cannot decide where the temple will be built? The construction will be done as per the orders of the Supreme Court. The chief of Bhim Army was speaking to the presspersons at Gomti Nagar. Earlier he presented a copy of the constitution to the district magistrate.

Bhim Army founder Chandrashekhar Azad called the Vishwa Hindu Parishad’s ‘Dharma Sabha’ in Ayodhya ‘an attempt to whip up the communal frenzy and instigate violence’. He also alleged that the Sangh Parivar was trying to divide and polarise the Bahujan community through this movement.

Chandrasekhar Azad while referring to a petition filed by Vineet Kumar Maurya seeking to bring recognition to the Buddhist antecedents of Ayodhya, said since the BJP government liked changing names, the town should be rechristened ‘Saket’, where Gautam Buddha is believed to have lived in for some time. He also accused the Sangh Parivar of trying to erase Dalit history.
