New York [U.S.A.]: After driving a rented truck into a school bus near the site of the World Trade Center Memorial in Manhattan, a suspect with the gun was seen running towards a group of children.
According to the report published in India Today, a witness, Thibaud Roy said that he saw a shooter running towards kids.

At least eight people died and 15 others got injured after an attacker drove a truck into onto a bike path.
It is also reported that the suspect is 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov from Florida. Paintball gun and a pellet gun were also recovered from the crime scene.
Earlier, reports appeared that police is responding to the reports of gunfire. According to a tweet posted by New York Police Department, one person was taken into custody. NYPD further advised public to avoid West Side Highway Area.

A large number of police vehicles was seen in Manhattan near West Street and Chambers Street.
