Three Aadhar centers in every mandal: KTR

Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao today informed the Council that the government was for providing internet broadband services to every household and Aadhar enrolment facility in villages. He said they have plans to set up three Aadhar service centers in every mandal to enable enrollment of people to avail various schemes.

The minister was giving a reply on a short discussion on Internet broadband services and Nizamabad Urban Development Authority in the Council. The State government was expanding the internet services in Telangana to provide better health and education services to people. The plan of providing internet services to every household in the rural areas is a unique program in the country, he remarked.

There are some private Aadhar centers in the State which will be shifted to government offices to push enrollment in the State. About 3.20 crore people are enrolled with the Adhar in the State and the government plans to provide the facility to others, who are yet to get this facility. He said that in addition to GHMC, six other corporations are on development path. The government will implement a perfect plan to develop them further to provide all facilities, he added. (NSS)
