Hyderabad: The Commissioner’s Task Force West Zone team nabbed three drug peddlers at Kabaddi Stadium in Tallagadda under Tappachabutra police station and seized 3 kg Ganja and three Cell Phones from their possession.
The accused were identified as Amar Singh pf Balramgalli, Mangalhat, Shiva Singh, a painter of Shivalal Nagar, Mangalhat and Deepak Singh of Balramgalli, Dhoolpet. Police said the trio observed people making easy money by purchasing and selling of ganja, hatched a plan to sell ganja to needy customers on higher rates and make money.
The accused started purchasing ganja from one Vicky Singh for Rs 6000 a KG and used to sell it for Rs 10,000 to the needy customers in Hyderabad. A week back the accused contacted Vicky Singh for purchase of three kg ganja and Vicky Singh told them that he would hand over ganja to them on Monday.
Accordingly, the accused gathered at Kabaddi Stadium, Tallagadda to purchase ganja from Vicky Singh, who handed over three packets containing one KG Ganja in each packet to the trio Amar Singh, Shiva Singh and Deepak Singh. At the same time, the Task Force personnel apprehended them while Vicky Singh escaped from there. (NSS)
