GUNTUR: An empty three-storey building falling in a matter of seconds in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur on Saturday evening.
It collapsed after a drainage repair work that was going on at Mani Hotel Centre damaged the pillars of the building.
A video footage of the dramatic collapse of pink and green painted building went viral, as a few stunned locals watch helplessly.

However, no casualties have been reported so far.
“The GMC had already issued notices to encroachers to remove their structures but this building owner constructed two more floors without any support and hence stern action would be taken against him,” Municipal Commissioner C. Anuradha was quoted as saying.
