New Delhi, : Aamir Khan, who is seen promoting his upcoming movie ‘Secret Superstar‘ has taken a break from shooting ‘Thugs of Hindostan‘ for the same.
During a recent interview, Aamir was asked if he would like to do films on gender equality and woman empowerment.
Aamir was prompt to reply that a lot of his films had the female lead being a stronger character than its male counterparts.
Aamir explained this by giving instances of few of his films which included ‘Dangal’ and his upcoming project, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’.
“Even in Thugs of Hindostan, the central role is the girl who is being played by Fatima Sana Shaikh. The story of the film is about her”, revealed Aamir.
Now, for Aamir to say this, it surely seems to be a big deal for Fatima as it is too early for her to grab such an important role and that too opposite Aamir Khan.
Fatima Sana Shaikh, who is sharing screen space again with her mentor Aamir is playing the central character in the movie and recently even her first look was leaked online. She looked fantastic and every bit fierce in the look.
The film will also witness Amitabh Bachchan and Katrina Kaif in pivotal roles. (ANI)
